Description
A minifig-scale car (7 studs wide) inspired by the 1935 Jaguar SS Roadster.
Designing this model took me longer than usual. The main challenge was building the vehicle's components at various angles and fitting everything together to achieve a subtle, lightweight shape that stays true to the original.
I have also included an additional set of instructions for a tan version of this car (roofless and featuring a different type of wheels).
The build is fairly sturdy; however, due to its irregular shapes, it doesn't quite match the durability standards of official Speed Champions sets.
Thanks to its 7-stud width, it fits perfectly alongside vintage modular buildings and cars from the aforementioned series.
The wheels are built using a non-standard technique. This requires some precision, as crookedly mounted tires may occasionally rub against the rear fenders.
Optionally, you can use standard wheels (e.g., part ID: 30155), which is demonstrated in the extra instructions I have provided.
